Terms of use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Purpose
Baol Player is an application for playing video streams from sources added by the user.
Baol Player does not provide, sell or include any subscription to channels, video catalogue or other audiovisual content. A Baol Player subscription only covers access to the application’s features.
The user must separately obtain the rights and authorisations needed to access the content they wish to watch.
2. Use of sources and content
You agree to use Baol Player in accordance with applicable law and to add only sources that you are authorised to access.
In particular, you must respect the intellectual property rights and the terms of use of the providers concerned. Using the application to access protected content without authorisation is prohibited.
Sources added by the user are operated by third parties. Their availability, content and access conditions may change independently of Baol Player.
3. User account
An account is required to use the application.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, you must change your password and contact support.
You may request deletion of your account at any time, from the application (Settings → Account → Delete my account) or by writing to [email protected]. Your personal data is not used for any purpose other than operating the application and your account.
The consequences of deletion for a current subscription, and the applicable cancellation procedure, are set out in the subscription terms.
The processing and retention of your personal data are described in the privacy policy, available in the application (Settings → Privacy policy).
4. Subscription and free trial
Access to the paid features of Baol Player requires a monthly or annual subscription.
Before any purchase, the following information is provided on the purchase screen and in the applicable subscription terms:
- The total price and the billing frequency.
- The length of the subscription.
- The length of the free trial and its eligibility conditions, where a trial is offered.
- Whether the subscription renews automatically.
- The date and conditions of the first charge after the trial.
- The cancellation procedure and deadline to avoid the next charge.
- The consequences of cancellation for access to the application.
- The conditions that apply to withdrawal and refunds.
For purchases made through an app store, payment and subscription management terms are provided at the time of purchase, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
5. Operation, compatibility and liability
The technical requirements and features of Baol Player are described in the documentation and on the application’s distribution page.
Playing a stream depends in particular on its format, the access conditions set by its provider, the device used and the internet connection. Compatibility with any third-party source or provider is not guaranteed, unless expressly stated in the description of the offer.
Interruptions may occur, in particular for maintenance or because of failures of third-party services. These circumstances do not deprive the user of the remedies provided by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the applicable legal guarantees, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content and services, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
6. Third-party components and open-source software
The application includes third-party components that are subject to their own licences.
The corresponding licences and notices are available in the application (Settings → Open-source licenses).
These terms do not limit the rights granted to users by those licences.
7. Personal data
Information about the personal data processed, its purposes, its retention period and how to exercise your rights is in the privacy policy, available in the application (Settings → Privacy policy).
